You not going to believe this but I have spent all day scrounging for some info about this. You're a lifesaver, it was a thought provoking read and really helped me out. Cheers,Audio Visual Installations

If you get the chance, I recommend listening the music from the Argento/Morricone trilogy. There's an entirely different side of Morricone there that was only briefly touched on in "The Thing" and it's stunning to witness.

Ennio Morricone has been my favorite since I saw "A fistful of Dollars" in 1966. he and sergio Leone had a very special bond. There will never be a better team. "Once Upon a Time in the West" is a Flawless movie and the music is such a vital part . Each character had its own theme. When you heard the Harmonica, you knew Bronson was around,Fonda had the orchestra,Claudia the piano and robard has the guitar and it all blended smoothly. I also loved the pan Flute from "The Mission" and the haunting tech sound of "John Carpenter's The Thing", I was glad he got an honorary Oscar but his work should have been honored long ago.
