A Bug's Life, definitely. Better animation than Antz, but everything else Antz does is far superior.

I completely agree Kirk. Pixar was able to pull the strings of my heart with "Up" unlike any of their other movies. I won't even lie, forget misty-eyed, I straight up cried in the opening sequence!

Although I think trying to figure out Pixar's weakest film could make for a good article here at WAMG. I would say A Bugs Life or Cars, but I still love both of them.

As much as I love Miyazaki, PONYO was, by far, his weakest film in a long time. UP was incredible. It was the first, animated movie in a long, LONG, time that got me misty-eyed, and that was in the first 15 minutes. There is no question UP is going to walk away with that statue.

Nothing looked better than "9", but it left you thinking is this it. 'Up" is by far the weakest PIXAR film. Ice Age, Monsters and Cloudy were forced. It is Ponyo"s time.

Thats a damn good point. I'm sure theres some rule saying that a certain percentage of the film needs to be animated in which case Squeakquel might fall into that catagory, but then again, Avatar should be on the list too. Good question sir, good question.

Am I the only one curious how THE SQUEAKQUEL is even eligible for this? If that's eligible, wouldn't something like AVATAR or TRANSFORMERS be up for it, as well? Maybe they would have been they just weren't submitted for consideration. That's the only thing I can come up with. Thoughts?

Although I'm yet to see "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and I think it will be great, if "Up" doesn't win I'll call Shannanigans. But who honestly thinks it won't win?
