  1. I would have to say The Great Pumpkin. Who doesnt love Good ol Charlie Brown?

  2. I think Treat r Treat is now favorite. The entire film is great, it's going to be a modern horror classic.

I'd have to say that my favorite Halloween-themed movie is John Carpenter's Halloween. I always have to watch it every year around Halloween because it gets me in the mood. I love the cast, the music and it's still as fun to watch for me as it was the first time.

I have been waiting to see Trick 'r Treat for so long and really wanted to see it at the movies, but I'm so happy that they're finally releasing it on dvd. Looking forward to this new classic. Thank you!

  4. It's hard to pick just one Halloween favorite but high on my list is Night Of The Demons. I know it's cheese ball but it's a pretty fun film. Staples of my halloween are The Exorcist and The Great Pumpkin charlie Brown. Must sees for this time of year. How can you go wrong with pea soup ? lol. I'm very excited for Trick R' Treat though. I've heard the Caustic Critique talking about it on Rue Morgue Radio and it sounds amazing !

  5. favorite is nightmare on elm street

  6. Bride of Chucky, without a doubt.

  7. My favorite is IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN.

  8. My favorite Halloween movie is still HALLOWEEN (the original). That movie still sends shivers down my spin because the characters are so much like the kids I grew up with. It's like the story happened to us!

  9. Christine says:

I haven't seen Trick "R Treat yet, but have wanted to for a couple years now. My favorite Halloween-themed movie is still Carpenter's Halloween. Thank you for the chance to win this new classic!

  10. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hocuspocus with sarah jessica parker and bet middler!!! that is the greatest halloween because it is just hilarious!!!

Th original Halloween is the best horror film!!! it is a classic and nothing can measure up except, from what I hear, Trick or Treat might!!

But HOCUSPOCUS is my all time FAVORITE halloween movie

  11. My favorite Halloween moment in Trick 'R Treat is when the kids are driven on the bus and the bus driver decides to kill them all by dumping the bus, but the retarded kids fight back. LESSON LEARNED: Don't mess with retards-they just may kill your A**!

  12. My favorite moment from the film is when Billy Wilkins and his father, Principal Wilkins, are preparing to carve the "jack-o-lantern" in the basement of their home. That scene sent chills down my spine.

As for a favorite Halloween-themed film, it's a toss-up between Hocus Pocus and Monster Squad. If any of you have yet to see those flicks, do yourself a favor and see them immediately.

  13. Pat Matczak says:

Nightmare on Elm Street; cult movie with an amazing concept, but the sequels did not hold a candle to the original.

  14. I haven't got to see this movie yet…but the movie that reminds me the most of Halloween thus far is the original "Halloween" movie. That score that goes with the movie while the kids are out on the street knocking on doors for candy…it still gives me the willies.

  15. nightmare on elm street, cant wait for the remake

  16. I just saw Trick R' Treat recently… I have to mention the other movie by that title that was made in the 80's I believe? about a kid who releases the spirit of a rockstar who possessed his last recording when he died… but anyway, the best part of the new Trick r' Treat is when the Halloween mascot monster dude is attacking the old bus driver, and the monster's hand reattaches to his body after the driver thought he killed him… After all that the little guy had pulled off, THAT was the first moment the bus driver started to believe the creature was supernatural, and he's like, "Oh, sh*t!"
