Clint Eastwood is getting his ghost, and he’s bringing Matt Damon along with him, too.  The two are coming back together for ‘Hereafter,’ according to Variety.  They recently finished work together on ‘Invictus,’ which is scheduled to come out later this year.

Written by Peter Morgan (‘The Last King of Scotland’ and ‘The Queen’), ‘Hereafter’ is being billed as a supernatural thriller.  The spec script was picked up last year by DreamWorks, and Eastwood expressed interest in the project almost immediately.  Eastwood is moving the project over to Warner Brothers with the blessing of DreamWorks head and Eastwood’s friend, Steven Spielberg.  Damon will be joining the project as the film’s lead.  Story details have not been revealed yet.

Filming is set to begin this fall.  ’Invictus’ comes out on December 11th.
