‘Barbie’ Movie Getting Prepped

Gotta level with you.  Sometimes, the hardest part in writing an article is deciding which picture to roll with as a header.  It took twenty minutes of perusing through various pictures of Barbie on Google images before settling on the one you see above.  Personally, I feel that it both keeps in line with the topic of the story and keeps firmly intact any movie geek status I might have.

I thought about doing the typical, milktoast shot of Barbie in a wedding dress, seeing as how this is a big day for the 50-year-old…whatever it is she does for a living.  I’ll leave any suspicions as to how she makes all her money up to your twisted, little minds.  But, you can never let too much good news come someone’s way, especially someone who has had the world handed to them such as Barbie…what the hell is her last name?  So, sometimes, you have to remind the world of that time she was taken hostage by the giant ape, smiling the whole time as if clueless to her present predicament.

So, there.  I rolled with the ‘King Kong’ shot.  There’s never a wrong time to remind the world of ‘King Kong.’

Oh, yeah, there’s a movie about ‘Barbie’ getting made.  Universal and Mattel are collaborating.  I got this news from The Hollywood Reporter.  No word if Kong will make a cameo.
