Tales from the Cryptkeeper was canceled in 1994, before Demon Night, and Bordello of Blood was created (1995 & 1996 respectively). It was, however, brought back in 1997 under the name: New Tales from the Cryptkeeper.

Nope the MTV spiderman is based on the movies continuity. But it's a toon, based on a movie, based on a comic so I guess we'll let it pass. LOL And yeah I get ya bout the top 20. I'm just throwing them out to get some more love so they don't get forgotten like I almost did with Toxic Crusaders…yeah that was just wrong.

A lot of these suggestions (Men in Black, The Toxic Crusaders) were on one or two people's lists, but they just didn't make the final cut. Trust us, guys, if this would have been a Top 20, all of these would have been on there.

Men in Black barely missed the cut. I thought about the original Clone Wars series, but the newer CGI series struck me as being a bigger, cooler accomplishment. Techinically, the Spider-Man series is based on the comic books. Forgot all about the Godzilla series. I actually had Rambo on my personal list, but it didn't make the cut. Hey, I like it when I was a kid!

Star trek the animated series (1973) was based on the TV series and not Star Trek the Motion Picture (1979). I did like the new king kong series, but the old Rankin Bass show was fun and light hearted and Kong was the hero who rescued the kids every week.

Didn't include Spawn, cause it's based on the comic book rather than the film. The new Kong animated series was on my list, but it didn't make the final one.

Nice list. I've seen ALL of these at some point or another. Real Ghostbusters was my show though. I guess since it asn't an ongoing I see why you didn't use the first Clone Wars series, but it did help spawn and inspire the current one so it should at least get honorable mention. No love for Men in Black the series (the spiritual successor just as the movies were to Ghostbusters), The Mummy: The animated Series (which was better than the sequels in some cases) Spider-Man: The New Animated Series from MTV or Godzilla the series, which was actually good despite the movie that spawned it being panned? How bout worst cartoons based on a movie. Highlander, Ace Ventura, the Mask (but thats a cartoon based on a movie , based on a comic), Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Rambo& The Forces of Freedom, Teen Wolf, and the list goes on.

Well I have thre and I know the last two well really date me.
Spawn the HBO series with Keith David voicing our hero
and King kong and Journey to the Center of the Earth two ABC shows from 1966 I think. I still sing the theme to King Kong. Wanna hear it , here it goes. "King Kong you know the of King Kong . You know the fame of King Kong , 10 times as big as a man." No aplauses please.
