Tarantino Video Clip for Wednesday: Quentin Owning a Film Critic
Even if you’re not a fan of the movies he puts out, you have to appreciate the passion Quentin Tarantino has for movies, both those he makes and those he bases his own works on. If there’s nothing more fun than watching Tarantino talking about one of his movies, it’s watching him completely own a movie critic who just doesn’t get it. The movie critic in question here is Jan Wahl, a film historian and notorious hat collector from San Francisco. Tarantino came on a KRON-TV morning show to speak about his new film, ‘Kill Bill.’ Wahl, the resident critic, began criticizing his film for being too violent and not empowering women as Tarantino claimed the film did.

Wow! What a BI***! People like this piss me off and I'm glad Quentin stuck it to her. Get down off your soap box. If you don't like or agree with a film, fine. Let the rest of us enjoy it. As for the argument about kids, look… it's the parents' decision. They choose, not us! If they make bad decisions, then they're bad parents. (not saying that letting you kids watch QT movies is bad parenting, in fact, I'm with QT here. let 'em watch, make sure they know it's just a movie, just for fun and as with all topics, be open to talk with them if they do have questions) I admit, I have no kids, but here's the difference… this Jan lady on some local TV news show didn't mention having any kids herself. (imagine that) If that's the case, what the F**K does she know about what kids think?
I love the end when they go back to her bitching about the movie after QT leaves. And the other newscasters are just "yeah… thanks Jan" and turn away.
