Friday DVD Giveaway Part 2: ‘Adventureland’
This is the 2nd part of our double Friday DVD Giveaway, and it happens to also be one of my favorite films this year. ‘Adventureland’ was a fantastic film that I ended up seeing 3 times before it even got to theaters on the festival circuit and each time I got better.
What you need to do is leave us a comment below and let us know if you were working at ‘Adventureland’ for the summer would you be a Rides person or a Games person? Personally id rock the Games because being in charge of prizes would be a dream come true! Plus how many sweet freebies would you score? Its definitely a Win/Win! I'd definitely be a games person. The idea of being able to hurl those balls as an obnoxious brat would be awesome – plus being able to score some points with the hot ladies by letting them win some of those big teddy bears would definitely work to my advantage!

I'd want to be a games person too. It's more fun. Being a rides person seems extremely boring. :)
I would work the rides. Hot chicks without boyfriends ride the rides; hot chicks with boyfriends play the games.

Totally a rides gal. Plus. I'd get the benefit of riding them as many times as I wanted after the park closed! How great is that?
I'd be a Games girl. Because A) I'm good with people and B) Rides are cooler than games. So I'm Games.

I would prefer to be a game person. I don't like those ride that much.

I grew up in WIldwood. NJ and we have a boardwalk with rides. Back in high school, I worked at both the rides and the game stands. But at this point, I'd have to stick with games because just looking at the rides makes me quesy

Games, I want to know how they keep those fish in the little ping pong bowls alive. As soon as you take them home they die, so there has to be a secret.

I would have to be games… because I would get so much personal enjoyment from making all the asshole guys suffer from all the tricks in the games, and any hot chicks I'd hit on them constantly and give them free prizes to get a later appointment.

I'd love to be a games person because I'd love to help little kids win, and I'd upgrade their prizes if they weren't brats.
Is this still going on? If so, I'd work the rides. I wouldn't feel good watching people play games they can't win.
I'd be rides. I just think I would have it in me to taunt the gamers or call out a horse race on a whim.
