Who wants to see ’500 Days of Summer’ with The Movie Geeks?
’500 Days of Summer’ is one of the best indie comedies of the year, I cant call it a romantic comedy because as the film will point out, “this is not a love story”. We have passes to giveaway for 3 different screenings, so here is how it will work. We have about 30 passes in total, we will choose 10 people to see this on July 9th, 10 people to see this on July 15th and 10 people to see this on July 21st. We unfortunately cannot take requests as to which passes you receive.
In order to win you need to leave a comment and tell us your favorite non love story film. For example, mine is ‘True Romance’. We will pick the winners at random and you will be notified via email. So if you use a fake email address then its sort of impossible to win, you know who you are.

fav non romantic film is Kill Bill
I love "War of the Roses" as my least romantic comedy….it is a divorce at it's worst possible scenario.
It's an oldie but goodie starring Michael Douglas. : )
My fav non romantic movie is Untamed Heart.
My favorite movie would have to be Seven Pounds…he loses his wife and kills seven strangers during a car accident…he tries to find seven people who he can help…and finds this woman who is in trouble with the IRS and falls in love….great movie, but sad!
My fav non-romantic film is Ghostbusters because…it's pretty much the best film EVER! (and this is the 25th anniversary so I gots to give it props!)

The Terminator.
And yet it can be. Kyle grew up from a teen loving a picture of Sara Connor, and was proud to go back and "meet the legend." He then gives his virginity to her, and they love a lifetime before he sacrifices his life to save her. She is changed forever by him and those events. But all that takes up about 10 mins of the story…so it counts.

The 'Kill Bill' films (I'd love to see a single KB film re-edited w/ unused content)…although one could make an argument that revenge films are love stories.

My favorite non Romantic movie is Falling Down, it is an excellent movie!
I would have to say one of my favorite non romantic movies would have to be The Other Side Of Mdnight. Really long story about obsession gone wrong. I really liked this movie though.
