Tarantino wants to do a Western, but is it next?

Apparently he didn’t get his fill with the executive producing and having a small role in ‘Sukyaki Western Django’ so Mr Quentin Tarantino wants to get a Western under his belt. During the London Premier of ‘Inglourious Basterds’ he told Empire “Well I still want to do a Western, I haven’t done a Western yet. I keep flirting about with it, but I haven’t done it yet.”
From the stuff we talked to Tura Satana about he still has ‘Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!’ in his sights but I would absolutely love to see a Western from him. What do you guys think about a Quentin Tarantino Western? How freaking epic and amazing would that be? Will he start writing a western or move forward with a few other projects he has talked about?

Depends on Inglorious Basterds. He is an up and down director I don't care what others have to say. Is a Western best for him? Maybe, but he is always trying new things, not sure if the Western is the way to go.
Up and down director, wow! I must have missed his "Down" stuff..
His down stuff would be when he played the Elvis impersonator on "Golden Girls" and 'Destiny Turns on the Radio.' Everything else has been up, up, up!
hahaha!
That would be incredible. Bring it on.
