‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians’ Official Trailer
20th Century Fox has released the first teaser for ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief This Has Go to Be the Longest Title in Recorded History, I Crap You Not: The Motion Picture’. It is the newest film directed by Chris Columbus, whose stock we didn’t think could fall any further until he released ‘I Love You, Beth Cooper’ last weekend.You can check out the trailer right here:
Clearly it doesn’t show much, but it looks like one more failed attempt at trying to start a major franchise based on a popular series of books. We haven’t seen that before, have we?
‘Percy Jackson & the Yada-Yada-Yada’ stars Rosario Dawson, Uma Thurman, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Bean, Catherine Keener, Kevin McKidd, Steve Coogan, and Logan Lerman as the title character. It opens on February 12th, 2010.
Maybe it's just me, but this doesn't look interesting at all…

that movie looks great. i read all 5 books and cant wait for the movie. and the directore of harry potter 1 an 2 is directing it.

can i remind everyone that chris columbus directed the first two harry potter movies!!!!!! some people might tell u that those r the weakest ones in the whole series but he started something that would live on 4 much longer. people every where obsess over these movies and who waz the one 2 start it all!?!? chris columbus. so dont bag it till u've watched the movie feb. 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree. I read all 5 books plus the Demigod Files and I adore them. Hopefully, it's impossible to screw up such a great series, but if they do, they'll have a lot of angry fangirls and fanboys to answer to.
Seriously guys, wait till more trailers are out. I’ve read all the books and cannot wait to learn everything about the cast, although I can say that the first trailer out is pretty damn dissapointing, it’s still only the first, give it time….
