‘Let Me In’ Concept Posters

The Matt Reeves-directed, Overture Films remake of ‘Let the Right One In’ doesn’t even have its two leads cast, yet, but that isn’t stopping the marketing train from chugging along.   The boys and girls over at SlashFilm have gotten their hands on these nice concept posters for the film.   These were evidently created as an early effort to help get the film sold in foreign markets.Check them out:

The remake is to be set in Colorado during the 1980s, and the two leads of the film will be 12 years old despite earlier rumors that they would be older.   Director Reeves is looking for more of a direct adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s original novel rather than a straight remake of the Swedish film.   Casting is currently underway.

Take this just as rumor, but SlashFilm is also claiming that an early choice for the part of Owen, the young boy who is befriended by an aged, vampire child, could be going to Kodi Smit-Mcphee.   Smit-Mcphee will soon be seen starring alongside Viggo Mortensen in ‘The Road.’

I DESPISE THIS IDEA! THIS MOVIE SHOLDNT BE REMAKED! IT WAS AMAZING THE FIRST TIME! I WATCHED IT 4 TIMES! WHY DID HE HAVE TO CHANGE THE NAME, AND THE CHARACTERS! IM SORR-NO IM NOT CANCEL THIS FUKIN THING!!!!!!!!

    • This ‘remake’ is a waste of film, time, and advertising. The book is the best way to receive this story. The Norweigan film is OK for people who hate to read, but this piece of crap is a waste of everything – a complete waste.

  2. I agree with "LetTheRightOneInAdic" the swedish version was perfect! It does not need to be remade. :/ But if it comes out good then I might just relax a bit.

  3. Superb site, where did you come up with the knowledge in this write-up? I’m glad I found it though, ill be checking back soon to see what other articles you have.
