‘Imaginarium’s Latest Still Gallery

Just days before Terry Gilliam’s presentation of his latest work, ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,’ this gallery of new stills from the film have been released.  They come to us courtesy of Coming Soon.net.Check ‘em out:

Some of these images are very Gilliam, especially that eighth one down of the giant, horse-drawn caravan.

‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ stars Christopher Plummer as Doctor Parnassus, the leader of a travelling troupe who makes a deal with the devil, Mr. Nick, for immortality and, later, youth.  With the possession of his daughter on her 16th birthday hanging in the balance, Parnassus nad Mr. Nick wage a renegotiation that takes Parnassus and a mysterius outsider (Heath Ledger) through a strange adventure.

The film also stars Tom Waits as Mr. Nick, Lily Cole as the daughter, and Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law as other, physical alterations of Tony.  ’The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ is set for release on later this year.
