The originals are better and that is the casa with [REC] and Quarantine. Copy/paste is easy, isn’t it? But Jaume Balaguer� and Paco Plaza had the imagination, they created it and they are the ones that brought one of the most scary e creepy film of all times. I’ve already watched it a lot of times and it is the best. But one film you should talk about is REC 2. That one is AWESOME too. I loved it…

Ravenous is a great score as well. I might follow up with this and post my top 10 horror scores.

I love Heil/Klimek's 'One Hour Photo' score. It hit all the right, pardon the pun, notes. Haunting yet beautiful. I might go back and analyse the Land of the Dead score.

Of course, 'Halloween' is the definitive, horror theme, but I've got to give serious props to Michael Nyman and Damon Albarn for the quirky and incredibly underrated score for 'Ravenous.' Some moments are strange, others are as epic as Morricone's score for 'Untouchables,' but it's all memorable. That is the only movie whose score I have every track on my iPod.

PS, Andy – Love the old school Wehrenberg theme on your last show's opener. Took me back, man.

Totally agree with your opinion on soundtracks. They can make or break a movie in my opinion (see Star Trek for "break"). What would a Carpenter movie be without John's music? Another great underrated score is Land of the Dead by Heil/Klimek.
