First Photo of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger

The first photo of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger in ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’, although you cant see much, has hit the web. You do get the really creepy funny feeling in yours stomach looking at it and I am excited as hell(no pun intended) to see this film! Jackie Earle Haley is amazing and I think will do Robert Englund justice.

What do you guys think? I know there isn’t much there but how do you think JEH will fare?

    Looks good to me. I think Haley is the perfect choice to play Freddy in a serious remake of Nightmare on ELms Street. Remember when Freddy was scarry? Yeah thought not. It's been so long since I could take him seriously. But Haley will breathe newfound life (and death) into him I'm sure. A horror remake I'm looking forward to.

    Also I read an interview with the director over on Latinoreview, and they say his scarring is more distrubing than Englund's make up was.
