First photo of Christopher Mintz-Plasse from ‘Kick-Ass’
MTV has received the first official photo of Christopher Mintz-Plasse as The Red Mist from Matthew Vaughn comic book adapted ‘Kick-Ass’.
For those of you that haven’t read the comic books, The Red Mist comes into play after Dave Lizewski (Kick-Ass) decides to become a real life superhero. After a video is released of him helping save a man from a gang rape beating and he becomes an Internet sensation and inspires other like minded teenagers to do the same. One of them is Red Mist, but he isn’t everyone he claims to be.

I think CMP is a little too young for this role in comparison to the comic book character of Red Mist, but I am still super-stoked to see it all play out and will definitely see it opening weekend.
