Stuff gets stolen from people at every con, Remeber you are responsible for your own items. You are an idiot if you blame the convention, it is your fellow anime fans that are stealing from you, and you not paying attention to your stuff. You only have yourself to blame. Considering Natsu made a profit and is going to be at one of the best Hotels in saint louis, the bad hotel is no longer an issue. Kawakon sucked, always late, the voice actor said he’d NEVER be back to it. However, the voice actors (even though one got licked) Said they’d be back for this year and will be. That says alot about a con being good if the VA’s come back, considering some minor problems. Kawakon has trouble getting VA’s where (and if they do they never come back) when Natsucon has no trouble. Kawakon is in debt, natsucon is not.

Natsu con sucked. Really im still gonna attend but really people kelpt getting there stuff stolen from people at Natsu con. Also there where more problems at Natsu con than Kawa Kon. So really dont talk stuff about Kawa Kon. Also the hotel for Natsu con was crapy. Wasnt as much space. Also was very over croweded. But it was ok. Ill admit the gaming room for Natsu con was ten time better. But ill be going to both so happy 2k10.

Freak…you haven't a clue. I must also note, you must be less than educated. You obviously can not spell nor make sense with sentence structure. How about going back to school instead of attending a Con. You probably are using your Mommy and Daddy's money to attend these conventions. Jump in a lake.

For natsukon to be in its first year, from what I saw, it was ten times better then Kawa Kon could ever dream of being. Even though the hotel at natsu was pretty bad, they were well organized and kept togeather on issues that arose. Where Kawa Kon was always late, the voice actor was very upset and said he would never go back. On top of that their origonal VA left for anime stl. I would never go to Kawa Kon or Bishie con (Because I heard it was going to be run by the same people) and I would advise everyone else the same to advoid those two cons. And if some con is 'claiming' to be the new anime stl, one would be lead to believe that whoever the con chair is, has a petty issue with the real anime stl and should seriously work out their own issues before trying to start a con again. Now, I normaly dont pick sides, I've gone to many cons, about fifteen to twenty to be exact, and I have been back to many. Kawa Kon is not one of those I would ever go back to or even waste my money on buying over expensive passess. On that note, I believe I have said enough. Great artical Edward, I hope to read more of your stuff.

There are actually at least six other conventions in St. Louis – Kawa Kon, another anime convention, now in it's second year; Bishie Con, a yaoi and shounen-ai convention in its first year; Steamposium, a steampunk convention working on its first year; Project: Comic Con, a comic book convention that just had its first successful convention in June; Conflation, the only relaxacon in the area, been around for several years; and Die-Con, a gaming convention that's been around for six or seven years. This is actually a great city for conventions and fandom events.

It seems as though all hotels in St. Louis have issues with fans. But I'm happy the convention definitely succeeded!
