DVD Giveaway: ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’
Since we are usually over flowing with testosterone here on WAMG, we thought it would be nice to have a contest for more of a..girl friendly movie! ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on June 23rd and we have a few copies to giveaway.

Here is the synopsis for those of you that havent seen this yet:
Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) moves to Manhattan to nurture her shopping addiction and gets involved in the New York City magazine world. She has spent almost $1000 in a month, when she discovers a fashionable green scarf, she doesn’t have enough money to buy it and borrows money from a man on the street. When she interviews with Luke Brandon, the editor of the magazine Successful Saving, she finds that he is the man from whom she had borrowed money.

Well, Scott probably is one of the hottest movie bloggers ever, especially if he is writing from the St. Louis area. There's nothing like a St. Louis summer to make one sweat. Besides that, Movie Geeks is quickly becoming one of my favorite movie websites. Oh, and the real reason I would like to win this DVD is because of Isla Fisher. She's gorgeous and I don't care if she and Sacha Baron Cohen are an item.

Due to it being summer, I am out of college and two hours away from my amazing girlfriend. This would be the perfect surprise for her when I get to finally see her in two weeks!

Why do I want this movie? Well, the news is just too depressing and the Colbert Report/Daily Show can only get me so far. I need a fluffy, happy, sappy movie to keep me from getting too bummed out by the crappy economy, etc. Oh and I love Patricia Field who styled this movie so some fashion eye candy to keep me away from Casino Royale (eye candy) would be a nice balance!
I haven't seen this movie, but it reminds me of my sister. I swear, you walk into her closet and you find clothes that still have the price tag that she has never worn. On one side of the closet is shelves and shelves of shoes and on the other it's like someone threw up purses. She is out of control and she hasn't noticed it yet, it's sad really….. Don't even get me started on her husband.

I just found out my husband has a girlfriend, mind you she is only a "friend" he says. And I live in a house where even the animals are males plus, two sons. I need a little estrogen and cheering up. My husband is going to a concert with his "friend" on the 27th and leaving me home alone.
My daughter loved Rebecca Bloomwood in Enchanted and she really wants to see this movie too

Confessions of a Shopahoilc is such a hilarious book. I enjoyed it and couldn't wait for the movie
Well I read the book and fell in love with the movie even more! Isla Fisher portrays the quirky, yet hilarious Rebecca Bloomwood oh-so-flawlessly!
