DVD Giveaway: ‘Burn Notice’ Season 2
One of my favorite actors from ‘Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows’, Jeffrey Donovan is now playing a former spy who got “burned” by his former agency and now works as a private investigator. Since getting “burned” means you have no record of anything anymore he has to work as a private investigator all the while trying to avoid being killed by the enemies he made during his time at the agency. The show also stars Ash Bruce Campbell who plays a retired ex operative who now tries to find rich older women to take care of him.
We have gotten a few copies of Season 2 on dvd and we want to pass these onto our badass readers. In order to win you need to leave a comment and tell me about your favorite episode, or favorite character. If you arent a winner, this hits shelves on Blu-Ray and DVD on June 16th 2009.
Haven’t seen season 1, but it sounds great.

I love the character Finona (or Fee as Michael Westen calls her). She is a strong, lethal female character and knows her weapons and how to use them. Bruce Campbell as Sam is a scene stealer and always good for comic relief. Love him and love the show!
Gotta go with Fee. How can you not love a woman who keeps C-4 in her purse? The new season is shaping up well, too. It’s one of my favorite shows.

“Burn Notice” is one of my favorite shows! Jeffrey Donovan plays the role of Michael Westen with determination and intensity, trying desperately to get back in with the agency that burned him. I would have to say that he’s my favorite character on the show. But the show wouldn’t be complete without Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell), the wise-cracking drinking buddy who’s always got Michael’s back, and Fiona Glenanne (Gabrielle Anwar) – how can you not love a woman who’s always there for you, willing to blow up anything necessary? The show is extremely well written, allowing each character to develop very well. I’m so glad the show is back for a 3rd season!
Yessss, this show rocks! Bruce Campbell makes it even better. He rules!

I like the character Michael Westen best. The show is pretty good.
My favorite would be a toss-up between Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and Sam (Bruce Campbell). They are both dryly, sarcastically funny, especially when each is talking about (or to) the other.
I love his mom she is such a crack up!
Can’t wait to watch this series.

My favorite episode has to be the 2-parter of Loose Ends. As much as I love Sam as the funny sidekick, he really held his own in that episode and he became a 3-dimensional character from then on that I really trusted as Michael's best friend. Now he's my favorite character. :)

Michael is awesome! He's kind and he cares even when he doesn't want to.
I liked Sharon Gless when she was in Cagney and Lacey.
Gabrielle Anwar is always great.
This show is the coolest on TV! Not only is it very entertaining (thanks Bruce and Sharon) but educational as well. Michael is one of the hottest characters on the small screen.
Sam, played by Bruce Campbell, is a great character!
Sam is by far my favorite character. I'm sure this is in no small part to my love of Bruce Campbell that has existed since I saw The Evil Dead when I was 7.
That having been said, I think this show is perfectly cast and well-written. It has a balance of humor and action that is nearly unbeatable. I fell in love with Burn Notice about 1/2 way through season 1, and spent a day doing nothing but catching up. I have yet to miss an episode since then!

I like Sam Axe because he's played by Bruce Cambell. I've always loved him in everything from Evil Dead to the Xena series.
it's hard to pick just one character – the cast on this show is so amazing. i love the quick wit, the tips and tricks of "the trade", and the heart-warming aspect of the show that just sneaks up on you in the midst of an episode where everything is blowing up. it's such a smart show! if i had to pick just one, though, i pick michael weston. there's really no one quite like him. :)

My favorite character is certainly Sam Axe. I’ve been a Bruce Campbell fan for a while now and love what he does with the character. His dedication to helping Michael is something that is very rare for sidekicks in television and film anymore.
