The story was incredible, the special effects are breathtaking, and the characters and acting give the series justice. The only actor who I thought completely missed the mark was Anton Yelchin as Chekov. Yelchin is a horrible actor and was the only flaw in the film. His Russian accent was one of the most horrible attemps I've ever seen. Since all the actors were pretty much unknowns, why didn't Abrams cast a Russian actor. Yelchin is the reason in my opinion why it lost that 4% off of 100 from rotten tomatoes. Other than that this is the must see film of the summer. I just saw it in IMAX and was utterly amazed.
