I got to see this film with a packed audience at a screening late last year in Los Angeles and was very impressed. And from what I could tell, the audience in the theater was into the film, especially at the major surprises that came in the second half of the film. My friends and I were gasping at a few moments and on the edge of our seats all the way toward the end. The acting was very good, not just for an "indie" film but even for a lot of "blockbuster" movies. Many of the actors held their own, especially the lead girl, infant guy and the salesman who added a comedic touch to the movie. I liked the young boy in it too. I give it 4 out of 5 starts because of the great story and performances - it made me think about my own life and how fortunate I am for having been strong through difficult times and helped at other moments. I definitely recommend this film.
