‘Where the Wild Things Are’ Gets a New Poster
Here you see the new poster for Spike Jonze’s adaptation of ‘Where the Wild Things Are.’ Ă‚ All in all, it’s an okay poster, but I much prefer the one released last month. Ă‚ That one seemed like it had more of the tone of Jonze’s film down, while the one above looks almost like a poster for a ‘Labyrinth’ remake. Ă‚ Plus, the tagline in this new poster doesn’t really go with the imagery at all.
Regardless, ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ is one of the mos anticipated films of the year. Ă‚ I remember hearing about test screenings for it in LA in late 2007, so the expectation level has been building for a long, long time. Ă‚ I still don’t buy the October 16th release. Ă‚ Release this thing at Christmas, maybe even Christmas day. Ă‚ Nothing like reliving your childhood on the big screen after eating a big bowl of cranberry sauce and opening presents.
‘Where the Wild Things Are’ opens October 16th.
