Fun list. Even though Kevin Smith is extremely good about making a quick comedy flick (and a quick buck), I don’t think his unoriginal comedy antics deserve TOP honorable mention, but thats just me. I definitely think some of these natural comedians, some outside the studio friends, deserve top mention, i.e. great actor/director Ben Stiller and friend Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn and actor/director Jon Favreau, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. For the most part, solid list. Lets try and keep these kind of lists honest and clean before Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray make it up there.

Rachel, I agree with you that Poehler & Fey probably should’ve had a place on here, but they came up as an after thought. As far as some of your other examples, we went strictly with movie duos and weren’t including TV duos.

Aw, come on, guys, no ladies on your lists at all? Granted, movies with funny female leads are sort of rare these days, but I’d add Tina Fey & Amy Poehler. Baby Mama, Mean Girls – both hilarious flicks.

Some funny married folks (real life & ‘pretend’): Judd Apatow & Leslie Mann, Cheryl Hines & Larry David.

And though not ladies, Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant (and Karl Pilkington FTW) also belong on this list.

Maybe a funny women list is in order? Preferably one that included real comic actresses and not Jessica Alba (doesn’t count if you’re unintentionally funny).

Gavin was there anything crappier than Clerks2? well maybe the Tenacious D movie. Hell, “snakes on a plane” was funnier than that shit by acident. The original Scary Movie was funny as hell, it was the sequels that sucked big time. And speaking of crap, Black sheep sucked big time and Farley wasn’t funny, I will give you spade, Joe Dirt is funny as hell. Baseketball and Orgazmo were crappola also. Now Team America is one of my favorite and I love the terrance and Philip number from southpark. And while I am not a Tyler Perry fan and will not try to defend him, I hate his tv shows and his heavy handed preachiness,His movies does have genuinely funny moments. Maybe the last two decades have been bad for comedy duos. There was no Pryor/wilder, Martin/Lewis, Mathau/Lemon.

Gavin, I didn’t even think Parker & Stone but they definitely deserve top mentions. And Aaron, I also had Michael Cera/Jonah Hill & Jim Carrey/Jeff Daniels on my list. It’s hard to make a list like this but I think we did a pretty good job.

Tyrone, those are all examples, but I wouldn’t even put most of them (save Sandler and Schneider) up for honorable mention. Wayans and Perry make more crap the ex-lax. Shrek might be an honorable mention, but only for the powerhouse of the first movie and the decent second. Sandler and Schneider would be a good contender for the list, and I thought about them for mine but I wouldn’t put them as top 10.
