Fourth and Final ‘Twilight’ Film Already Being Planned

The fourth film in ‘The Twilight Saga’ is already being planned, some seven months before the second film has even been released. TheWrap.com has learned that ‘Breaking Dawn’ will begin production in late spring 2010.
Summit Entertainment spokesman Paul Pflug declined to confirm or deny the report, saying only, “Summit has no comment on that rumor at this time.”
‘New Moon,’ the second film in the series is set for release on November 20. ‘Eclipse,’ the third film, is scheduled for release some time in June of 2010. With this tentative start date, it appears Summit Entertainment is anticipating a November, 2010 release date for ‘Breaking Dawn.’
‘Twilight,’ made for $37 million, has raked in $379.9 million worldwide, and the series stands as the driving force behind Summit Entertainment. The distributor also had a relatively large hit with ‘Knowing’ earlier this year.
What do you think? Is it too soon to already be planning on ‘Breaking Dawn’? Have you read that far in the ‘Twilight’ series? What can fans of the first film be expecting from the third and fourth films? Let us know by commenting below!

This is absolutely ridiculous. To say the Twilight series is overrated would be an understatement at this point. For some reason this franchise appeals to female tweens and an upper female middle class demographic, in NY the series tends to gravitate towards wealthy Italian girls that probably never read the books but bought them anyway. sigh…
I think it’s funny how much venom movie geeks are throwing at this series. The moive was fun, the books are enjoyable. It’s just not as apocalyptically bad as everyone’s making it out to be. Lighten up a little, movie watchers!
I can understand your POV Mike, but I just didn’t find the movie enjoyable at all. All I could do while I watched the movie was “try” and look beyond all the elements that I found ridiculous. I haven’t read the books and don’t plan to, so I can’t comment on them. For all I know, they’re excellent? A lot is changing with the 2nd film, so I’m going to try and withhold judgment on that one.
I don’t think it’s too soon to start thinking about Breaking Dawn considering they already have a release date for Eclipse. And to all the Twilight haters, just because you don’t like a movie doesn’t make it a bad one.
There will always be different opinions on every movie made. I personally love the Twilight series. Ever since i was little I been into Vampire movies and Twilight showed a much different side to Vampires than Im used to.The movies are great but the books are way better. Still i cant wait to see the rest of the series.
