In the same week that Fox Atomic was closing its doors comes word that Dark Castle, Warner Brothers horror/action division, is picking up rights for its next film.  The film will be an adaptation of the Devil’s Due graphic novel, ‘The Nye Incidents,’ written by sci-fi novelist, Whitley Strieber.

The story revolves around a medical examiner who must investigate a murder mystery where all of the victims are alien abductees.  The story is based on true events.

Todd Lincoln is set to direct.  This will be Lincoln’s directorial debut having only one credit, that of a production assistant on ‘From Dusk Till Dawn,’ on his resume.

Dark Castle has ‘Orphan’ on its slate for release later this year.
