MGM and WWE join forces to remake ‘Missing in Action’

MGM and WWE are tag-teaming to develop a modernized remake of the Vietnam era Chuck Norris action flick ‘Missing in Action’. The project is being planned primarily as a direct-to-DVD project and will be co-written by Jeremy Passmore (‘Red Dawn’ remake) and Andre Fabrizio.

In the original, a POW of the VietCong named Braddock (Norris) escapes captivity in Southeast Asia, but returns to free other U.S. prisoners. The remake will be an updated version that deals with the current realities of the Iraq War. Past efforts from WWE have been entertaining action flicks but extremely light on story.

I only have one question… What will Chuck Norris do if he finds out?

  1. God, this is a horrible idea. You know they are going to have John Cena grow out a beard to play Braddock.

By the way, did you know what if you stare at the American flag long enough, a 3D image of Chuck Norris will appear?
