I'm not particularly interested in Eat Pray Love, I have to tell you. I own the book; I have not brought myself to read it. I might see the movie. I might not

Alex, I don't doubt I'll probably enjoy the film when I see it in its entirety. I'm just not feeling the same sense of "Oh, my God, there's a new PIXAR movie coming out and I gotta gotta see it" that I have from most of their other films. Maybe it's Doctor. Now that I think back on it, 'Monster's Inc.' was funny and cute, but I'm not sure if I felt much passion behind the making of it.

As far as him loving the stories Thomas and Johnston told him, I don't see that that was a catalyst for 'UP' getting made. Doctor didn't write the screenplay. Was the film his idea from the start? Did he jump on board due to the fact that the screenplay reminded him of those stories. I'm just not seeing a connection between Doctor hearing those stories from Thomas and Johnston and 'Up' getting made.

Of course, my whole problem with the film could just be based out of the trailers I've seen. The finished product could be the greatest animated film I've ever seen. You just never know completely from a trailer.

Having said all that, we're just gonna have to agree to disagree and shake on it. We're gonna be staying under the same roof for the next week and a half, and I don't wanna have to sleep with one eye open.

Okay, I hate to call you out on this, but you are pretty off on this one. I'm not going to go into the full story, but the reason Pete Docter (the guy behind Monsters Inc for goodness sake!) wanted to make this is because he loved hearing the stories that legendary Disney animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston used to tell him... Is that not a labor of love, come on?!

Secondly, I admit that this trailer wasn't cut together very well. It seems very choppy and rushed, so don't judge this by just this trailer. The first 45 minutes, which I've seen a few times now, is absolutely wonderful and it is a much more emotional and wonderful story just like Pixar is known for. So please, give this another chance, and try and see as much of it as you can, because I guarantee you you'll love it as much as every other Pixar movie in the end!
