Fantasy Cast… Who should play Khan in new ‘Star Trek’ sequel?
‘Star Trek’ is getting the reboot. J.J. Abrams is going back and showing the young adventures of Kirk, Spock, and the Starship Enterprise. There is an inevitability in our midst. At some point, somewhere down the line, the greatest Star Trek villain is likely to show his chiseled face.

Who could possibly step into Ricardo Montalban’s shoes?
This is a choice we leave to you, our loyal readers. If there is a God who watches over all things Hollywood, he will have J.J. Abrams return to this villain at some point in the near future of the new ‘Star Trek’ franchise. But, who could play Khan? Are we going more for looks, voice, hair, or chest plate? What is the main attribute that makes Khan the perfect villain we remember whose actions resulted in Mr. Spock’s untimely death?
Let us know who could fill this pivotal role. Also, are there any other major ‘Star Trek’ characters who might be popping up in the new series? Throw us some comments below with your suggestions.

If you wanted to go for someone who is like the great Ricardo Montalban, then the natural choice would be Antonio Banderas. Banderas has the look, the voice and the Alpha male physucality aspect that would be needed for the character.
If you want to go a different direction with the character and go with more of a true foil for Kirk and not stay true to the original, you could go with a Tahmoh Penikett. He is intense, commands a sense of authority and has the kind of athletic build one would need to be “genetic perfection”.

Tahmoh Penikett would be fabulous! He’s great on Dollhouse-yummy.
Banderas would be my first choice too
Oh, yeah, I just thought today of the perfect choice to take over the Khan reigns.

If you don’t recognize his name, you will surely recognize his face. He’s the guy who played the mayor in ‘The Dark Knight’ plus he has a pretty cool recurring character on Lost. You know he has the JJ Abrams’ tie from Lost, so his name definitely could be in the running if Abrams sticks with the franchise. Plus he definitely has the Khan look. He’d have to fake an accent, but I could see him fitting into the role nicely.
Id say either Ben Kingsly or the guy who plays Paulie on The Sopranos. He’d be the best choice.
I really like the Avatar 3D movie, particularly the story line, not only it brings a totally new sensation however inspiring thoughts of humanity. I heard the New Avatar 2 is comming soon, can’t wait to watch it again…!
