Dante’s Inferno game going to the Big Screen

Universal Pictures is developing a live-action adaptation of the Electronic Arts video game called Dante’s Inferno for the big screen. Dan Harris (X-Men 2, Superman Returns) has been chosen to write the script, with Mark Abraham and Eric Newman of Strike Entertainment producing.
Dante’s Inferno was the subject of a heated bidding war for film rights between four major studios before the game even had a title. Universal walked away with the goods. The game has players embark on a horrifying journey through the many levels, or circles, of Hell.
