Henriksen and Moseley, Together at Last!

Lance Henriksen and Bill Moseley will be lending their voices to  writer-director Matt Pizzolo’s film version of ‘Godkiller’ based on the comic series by HALO-8.   Actor Justin Pierre and AFI lead singer Davey Havok will also provide their voices.

The adaptation is described as an “illustrated film” mixing elements of anime, radio drama, video games and comics. Â  Set in a future where the economy has collapsed, a nuclear holy war has devastated and aliens have invaded, ‘Godkiller’ tells the tale of Tommy, an orphan who searches for a new heart for his sick sister.

HALO-8 will unveil a preview clip Saturday during the “Indie Films and Comics” panel at Comic-Con International’s Wondercon in San Francisco. Â  HALO-8 intends to release limited-edition, serialized, shortform DVDs to comic book stores through the spring and summer before releasing the full-length feature theatrically in the fall.

“When we decided to make an anime adaptation of the comic book, I couldn’t see how a traditional animated approach would do justice to Anna’s incredibly lush and detailed illustrations,” comic series creator Matt Pizzolo said. “It made perfect sense to adapt the medium to suit her art, rather than vice versa.”

  1. Oh, I am so on board for this one. Two of the coolest actors out there right now. You know, Moseley is kind of the new Lance Henriksen… ok, maybe not, but I can make it work in my own little universe.

  2. You completed certain nice points there. I did a search on the issue and found a good number of people will consent with your blog.
