Congratulations to ‘Taken’ for a number one weekend
I first ran an article (here) about the Liam Neeson thriller, ‘Taken,’ almost a whole year ago.
And now, after having its release date bumped and moved and even questioned as to whether or not it would make it to theaters… ‘Taken’ is number one at this weekends box office.

For serious, though, ‘Taken’ is pretty awesome. Did you see it yet? No? Then be ashamed…
I am so glad this finally got a theatrical release. I JUST saw it in the theater yesterday (Saturday) and, oh my goodness, it is good! Liam Neeson is incredible! He makes such a great badass! The action and editing is freakin’ awesome! Sure, the story isn’t all that original, but it’s the execution of this movie that works so damn well. That, and Neeson! Did I say that already?

Yeah, Neeson is kind of a badass. Ever see Rob Roy? That last sword duel is the shit. Tim Roth gets pwned horrifically.
