‘Aphrodite IX’ 3D Film Getting Made
Three production companies, Threshold Entertainment, Platinum Studios and Top Cow Prods., are coming together to adapt the Top Cow comic ‘Aphrodite IX’ into a 3D feature film.  Threshold’s Larry Kasanoff and Platinum chairman and CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg are producing.
The story revolves around female android who suffers from amnesia shortly after being sent on undercover missions.  She quickly learns she was created as an assassin and stumbles upon a conspiracy involving a secret society of cyborgs who are planning to take over the government.  Kind of ‘Terminator’ meets ‘Bourne’.
“This is just the kind of franchise we love: a visually stunning world, amazing effects, a great story and a hot, kick-ass babe in the lead,” Kasanoff said. “What could be better?”
The last Top Cow comic to get adapted was last summer’s ‘Wanted’, which pulled in $341 million worldwide.

I read the mini series and it was kick ass. This movie has the potential to be titanic, even bigger that the Terminator. But whoever does it has to keep the movie hardcore and make sure it has an R rating. The most important thing is that they find the right kind of actress, one who is'nt affraid of becoming a sex symbol and will show lots and lots of skin in the movie. Lots of skin,there has got to be some nude senes. Check out the comic and you will know what I mean. This comic aint for kids. I would like to see Monet Mazur ( Whirly Girl, Tourque) or somebody that type play the part. Cant wait !
Jessica Biel just did a nude scene. She’s got the look and body and can do action.
not familiar with the material. how would a robot, of any sort, forget she was, a walking super computer? its like making a movie about, a cave girl, who wakes up in a museum, thinking she's plastic. or on the same vein, a girl who looses her memory, gets shipped off to iraq, and kills osama, with a stake knife. it dosen't make any sense. why not have the charater, become the president?
