Trio of Actors Join Neil Marshall’s ‘Centurion’

Michael Fassbender (‘300′), Olga Kurylenko (‘Quantum of Solace’), and Dominic West (‘300′ and ‘Punisher: War Zone’) have all signed up for Neil Marshall’s sword-and-sandal thriller ‘Centurion’.

The movie, billed as a thriller set during the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 117, tells the story of Quintus Dias, sole survivor of a Pictish raid on a Roman frontier fort, who marches north with General Virilus’ legendary Ninth Legion, under orders to wipe the Picts from the face of the Earth and destroy their leader, Gorlacon.

Celador Films is producing for Pathe Distribution. Ă‚  Marshall, who wrote and is directing the film, has a good, working relationship with Pathe and Celador after the success of 2006’s ‘The Descent’.

  1. Amazing, acting really is incredible. I personally am excited as heck to see The Book of Eli. It’s got my favorite actor – Denzel Washington. Really psyched!
