This bodes very well for ‘The Dark Knight’ – a huge boost and sure to please all the fanboys…its almost assured now of an Oscar Best Picture nom. on January 22nd. We’ll see how the directors branch feels with the DGA nominations on Thursday.

FYI: Attention ‘Wall-E’ fans! Turns out that it’s impossible for Andrew Stanton to pop up on the list of Directors Guild of America nominations this Thursday. Animated features aren’t eligible.

The 20th annual Producers Guild Awards will be held on January 24th at the Hollywood Palladium.
