Movies you need to see at Sundance: Part 2

Only 2 more days until Sundance, and I am going to pound out these other 2 lists for movies you NEED to see while attending Sundance 2009! Here is part 2 of 3.

Spread

I know, I know..putting an Ashton Kutcher movie on your list is like admitting you still like Limp Bizkit but come on, this movie looks pretty good. It is about a young guy (Kutcher) who is a womanizer and swoons older women. Hmmm…?

Peter and Vandy

Jason Ritter is on my watch list of up and coming actors. It looks like he scores big in this drama/romantic movie directed and written by Jay DiPietro which is his first movie so we will see how this turns out, but it really looks like it could be a sleeper hit.

The Carter

Lil Wayne is THE biggest rapper/hip hop artist in the world right now and this documentary will be striking gold on current status. You honestly cant turn on any radio station, unless its country or gospel and not hear Lil Wayne on a track. We will see how in depth this one goes, but it should be a pretty incredible look inside the hottest guy in America that isn’t named Barack Obama.

Død snø (Dead Snow)

This movie features Nazi Zombies during a ski trip… this could get very interesting if the blizzard comes before it screens at one of its midnight showings.

Don’t Let Me Drown

I haven’t heard much about it, but the synopsis sounds pretty good: “In a post-September 11th world overflowing with fear and hate, two Latino teens discover that sometimes the only thing that can keep them from drowning is love.

Stay tuned for part 3…
