Kissy Face EQUALS NO!

So… this one is not about the regular Screening PASSholes that go to a lot of the free screenings and talk, bitch, giggle and just overall, are disruptive and annoying. Not all… just some.

This one is about a press member. A person who was reviewing a movie for their job… or should have been anyway. Instead, they just got on my damn nerves.

One of the perks of reviewing movies, besides going to screenings for free, which I more than appreciate, is that we can bring someone with us on occasion. Sometimes it’s a friend, sometimes a relative, but in this case, it was obviously a date!

I was at the screening of, well I won’t say to be nice… I’m sitting at a theater that does not have stadium seating. That’s fine, I happen to love this particular theater for it’s character and charm. Having said that… you don’t have the luxury of sitting way above the people in front of you.

This was a problem this time. Why? You may ask… because a member of the press was making out the entire time!

Not only was this a great movie… one that I really wanted to see… but instead I got to deal with a member of the press giggling, talking, whispering, and overall Making out in my face!

I understand that couples sometimes exchange a little peck in movies, but this was Muah, Muah, Muuuuahhhhhhhhhhhh! The entire film!

Press members… I respect that most of us do not do this in a movie that we are reviewing for our jobs… but this one needs to be called out! Don’t make out in a packed theatre when there are others sitting around you!

Remember… I’m watching you…
