‘Ender’s Game’ Officially Dead

Orson Scott Card’s sci-fi novel “Ender’s Game” first published in 1985.  A film version of the novel has been in development for the last couple of decades. Last we heard, it was being developed by Wolfgang Petersen.  However, an article over at The LA Times says otherwise.

According to the article, Card did not feel comfortable with the direction the film was being taken, and the project was scrapped back in November.

What Card wants is a “film where the human relationships are absolutely essential — an honest presentation of the story.”

What do you think?  Have you read ‘Ender’s Game’?  Do you think it will make a good movie if it ever does get completed?  Who would you choose as the ideal director?  Let us know by commenting below!

  1. So far this year there have been many weddings I needed to attend, I could not help but think it would be great to just buy a years supply of wedding gifts.
