My opinion of his worth rides 100% on this movie. If he can produce the kind of movie that his fans swear he is capable of, an acerbic, intense, twistedly funny, and wholly original film, I will commend him and his filmmaking legacy. But if he delivers the kind of film his critics expect, a derivitive, overlong, full of itself, mish-mash of other great scenes from other peoples movies, an unoriginal homage, presented as a brand new piece, than I will forever write him off as a hack.
