Jose - This comment of mine was made before seeing the film, and to be honest, I still didn't think a whole lot of the movie after seeing it. For me, 'Push' was just kind of OK, but Kirk loved it!

I totally disagree Travis. In Heroes people have random powers. at any point in time they can add a new character with a new power to make the story better or for whatever reason. but in push there are a certain set of powers. "pushers, watchers, movers, etc. but the list actually ends. so if your a person with one of these "special powers" it doesn't take long to find out exactly what your power is. and i also like the fact that powers transfer on to their kids but they are "2nd generation", meaning not as powerful as there mother or father. what im wondering is, what if a mover and a pusher have a baby? will it have both abilities? exciting!

It reminds me of a cleaner, more subtle "Wanted". That might be a good thing or a bad thing. I, for one, embraced the heavy-handed insanity of "Wanted" and loved it more for Timur's elaborate eye regarding artistic detail and unrestrained creativity. This looks more mainstream, more palatable. Not that it won't be entertaining, but it still reeks of greedy film execs cashing in on comic book hype. Either way, I won't be seeing it in theaters.

Though I have kind of come to terms with this glut of comic book crap. I realized that at least it's keeping the Hollywood monsters from moving on to the next big thing, which is bound to be my latest obsession; steampunk.

Eh... looks kind of lame to me. Seems like it's just a feature-length 'Heroes' without any really original substance. The "special powers" all seem like their the typical done-to-death powers and when will they learn that superheroes need costumes! Not really, but it helps...
