Aside from no Jingle All The Way and no horror b-movies (Jack Frost and Santaâ€™s Slay) this is a great list. No we are not crazy for putting Die Hard on here. Itâ€™s essential holiday viewing. And if anyone is looking for a last minute stocking stuffer, Best Buy has a 2-disc Die Hard exclusive steelbook edition for $7.99. Yippee Kay Yay everyone!

Technically, ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ is a movie. The term “movie” is derived from the original terminology “motion picture” which implies a series of images shot in sequence so that when replayed at a specific speed the static images work to give the impression of the image actually moving. Furthermore, if the argument is based on the length, than ‘ACBC’ is still a “movie” because “movies” come in all lengths. I further evidence is required, and one wishes to debate the technology aspect, ‘ACBC’ was made in 1965 and the process of traditional cell animation was still being employed, therefor it’s no less of a movie than your choice of Disney animated movies. So, what other arguments can I debunk… if the definition of a movie is to have played in theaters, then what about movies that go straight to VHS/DVD? Short films? In fact, is a “Made-for-TV” movie not still a movie?

Good list! I have watched all of these already (except Gremlins) this holiday season. Charlie Brown..not a movie but an essential par of your Christmas viewing along with Year without a Santa Claus, you have to love the Miser Bros!

“I took a shower washing every body part with actual soap; including all my major crevices; including in between my toes and in my belly button which I never did before but sort of enjoyed. I washed my hair with adult formula shampoo and used cream rinse for that just-washed shine. I can’t seem to find my toothbrush, so I’ll pick one up when I go out today. Hell yeah! I’m glad to see Gremlins made the list. I was watching the 2nd one on AMC the other night. What a trip! I caught so many inside jokes now that I’m twenty years wiser, made me really appreciate Spielberg.
