You have to remember its the Hollywood “Foriegn” Press. I reall expected no love for Dark Knight. I am surprised by Mama Mia taking Tropic Thunder’s nomination for Comedy. Streep got her nomination by name only. I am glad to see Benjamin Button is poised to make a strong showing…as it should!
I’m really suprised there wasn’t a nod to Gus Van Sant for “Milk”. I saw an advanced screening last night and I thought he did an excellent job with it.
I’m with ya Ram Man
The snub for Van Sant was a BIG surprise
Daldry snaked Van Zant’s nomination away. That is the first time I saw him in a best director catagory for “The Reader”. Gus should be there , but the Globe will end up in either Boyle or Fincher’s hands.
Hey Michelle do you think they dubbed in ABBA over Streep and Pierce to get the Globe nomination? Or are they all just deaf?
