They are in the business of making as much coin as possible, and if recent history has told us anything it's that very few of the execs working in Hollywood know how to make money while still appeasing fans. If 20th Century Fox thinks they can make 10 cents more by cutting an hour out of 'Watchmen' and making it a PG-13 trainwreck, they will show no hesitation in doing just that. It's really sad, but you also have to consider the fact that, now, Fox has some egg on their face. They could derail this film on purpose just to spite the people who were behind it when it was WB distributing it. No matter which way it falls, you cannot deny that it's a pretty rocky point in time to be a fan of the possibility of a great 'Watchmen' movie.
