And the Oscar goes to… Hugh Jackman!
It’s official! Ă‚ ”The Sexist Man Alive” is hosting the 81st Academy Awards. The announcement was telecast by producer Laurence Mark and executive producer Bill Condon today.
“Hugh Jackman is a consummate entertainer and an internationally renowned movie star,†ť said Mark and Condon in a joint statement. “He also has style, elegance and a sense of occasion. Hugh is the ideal choice to host a celebration of the year’s movies and to have fun doing it.†ť
I will be taping this event that airsĂ‚ Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Kodak Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center. Don’t be the only one who misses it!

You’re wrong, I think Hugh will do a great job. Comparing him to John Stewart is comparing apples to oranges they are two different things.
