First Pic of Gambit from ‘Wolverine’

Here we have the first look at Gambit from the new ‘Wolverine’ film courtesy of Empire Magazine. Â  The card-carrying (literally) mutant who can manipulate kinetic energy is played by Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights).

Not sure if Kitsch was the perfect choice for this role, but it’s great to see the talented actor getting such a prime part in a huge movie.

What do you think of Gambit’s look? Â  Let us know below!

On a side note, if you’re not watching Friday Night Lights, you are missing out on the absolute best series television has to offer. Â  Be sure to check it out when it comes back to NBC in January.

  1. I don’t think he has quite enough of that rugged cajun handsomeness element that I always remember Gambit having from the comics. I’ll have to decide once I see the film, but he’ll really have to sell me with his performance. And, so help me God… if he doesn’t have a cajun accent, HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL!!!

  2. I think he is absolutely perfect for the role, especially if he carries over some of his swagger that he gives Riggens on Friday Night Lights..

  3. I’m a huge gambit fan. This picture………I’m not buying it. It’s going to take a lot of moxy to pull of that accent and style without appearing to be someone who just ‘thinks’ they have it but doesn’t and is just humorous. We’ll shall see cher..

  4. if you have ever watched “Friday Night Lights” then you would know what amazing range and adaptability Taylor K. has. He may not live up to EVERYONE’S expectations (i.e. the die hard X-Men fans) because they have this vision in their mind of the ‘perfect’ Gambit. I think he will be though.

  5. the cast of Friday Night Lights are very sexy, i like the girls .,

  6. Friday Night Lights is the favorite show of my sister because she likes the actor a lot’”;

  7. Friday Night Lights is a great tv series, i love the game and i love the story “,,
