First off, we have an “alleged” on-set photo of Goku in his “super saiyan” form from the new live-action version being made. I’m not a big fan of the show and never made an effort to keep up with the story, but I’ve seen enough episodes to know this is a terrible “interpretation” of Goku as a super saiyan. Above is an “unofficial” french (?) trailer spot that offers a lo-res glimpse into the movie. From what little we get to see, it doesn’t necessarily look “disastrous” (yet) but it certainly doesn’t look groundbreaking. And finally, another screenshot of Picolo from the “new” movie version…
What a train wreck. I don’t understand why they would tarnish the franchise like this. Nothing is safe from the almighty dollar, my friends. Piccolo looks like a downgraded version of Del Toro’s Nomak character creature. Oh, and that thumbnail of Goku is god-awful! He’s not super saiyan because the film doesn’t follow that time-line and Super Saiyan is when he has the gold hair and eyebrows. That’s just him as a monkey? I don’t know what the hell that is.
