‘Boondock Saints II’ Begins Filming

Troy Duffy’s 1999 film ‘The Boondock Saints’ is one of those love-it-or-hate-it movies. Â Personally, I dig the hell out of it, and I couldn’t wait to see what Duffy had in store for Connor, Murphy, and Il Duce with the sequel. Â There has been a lot of talk about a ‘Boondock Saints II’, and the long period of waiting is over.
‘Boondock Saints II: All Saint’s Day’ has started filming, and Duffy is putting a ton of video diaries up on YouTube. Â Check out the video he put up for the first day of filming below. Â Check out the rest of the by following the link below.

For an amazing, behind-the-scenes look at what went wrong with the first ‘Boondock Saints’, check out the documentary, ‘Overnight’. Â It’s all about how the Weinstein’s swept Duffy’s screenplay up for ‘Boondock Saints’ and how they basically turned their backs on him after the filming got off the ground. Â It’s an amazing documentary and an awesome companion piece of ‘The Boondock Saints’.

did you see overnight? that’s not an accurate description. the weinsteins never funded the film, they dropped duffy because he made an enemy with there female head of production who he kept referring to as c u next tuesday. ill give him credit, he seems humble in the video, that he lived and learned and if he has, he has earned a second chance.
Yeah, I was gonna say, “Overnight” certainly was not about Troy Duffy being wronged. It’s definitely more of a cautionary tale about not burning bridges when people suddenly start noticing you in Hollywood. It’s a great movie. I definitely recommend it for anyone in the film industry.
Yeah, you’re right. I didn’t represent ‘Overnight’ right. I forgot Mirmax pulled out before filming even started, and it was basically Duffy being a dick that ruined his career before it even started.
