‘The Green Lantern’ gets green lit …

You want it and now here it is The Green Lantern has been given the green light, get it, toĂ‚  start production in Spring of 2009. Producer Donald De Line, has revealed that a new draft of The Green Lantern has been turned in, and while nothing is “confirmed†ť they’re “gearing up to start shooting early spring.†ť Now I know what your thinking that is kind of fast being that no director or stars have been asked to partake in this movie project. But DC Comics is hoping that they can ride on the success of The Dark Knight. With that said, we all can hope that the stars that are attached will be BIG to make this move bring in the Green. 1. Which Green Lantern is it supposed to be, I wonder. I’m guessing Kyle Rayner or Hal Jordan, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for John Stewart since he was supposed to be in the Justice League movie.

  2. It will be ridiculous if it is anyone but Hal Jordan. Given Alan Scott was the original, but Hal Jordan IS Green Lantern. I also have heard through other forums that it will include Guy Gardner (maybe with the yellow ring of Sinestro so both him and Hal can have rings) and that would be awesome.
