You know what I find interesting is the fact that there have been so many successful R rated comedies in recent years and yet so often the makers of horror movies and action movies (what you would expect to be rated R) are being watered down to an unsatisfying PG-13. It just doesn't make any sense to me. I say if it lends itself to an R rating, let it be... it only hurts an otherwise decent film when the PG-13 rating keeps it from living up to it's full potential. Just a thought.
