Today we get a double-dose of new goodies from the upcoming comedy ‘Role Models’ starring Seann William Scott, Paul Rudd and Elizabeth banks. The first “green band” trailer made this film look hilarious, but the “red band” trailer make me that much more eager to see this film.

After one of their sex and beer romps gets out of hand, a pair of thirty-something perpetual frat boys are forced to sign up to be Big Brothers as part of their court-mandated community service. — Yahoo! Movies

This looks really funny. You know what I find interesting is the fact that there have been so many successful R rated comedies in recent years and yet so often the makers of horror movies and action movies (what you would expect to be rated R) are being watered down to an unsatisfying PG-13. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. I say if it lends itself to an R rating, let it be… it only hurts an otherwise decent film when the PG-13 rating keeps it from living up to it’s full potential. Just a thought.

Amen to that! It’s as though the studio really thinks that most of it’s box office income is made from the 17-and-under crowd… I really doubt that.

Paul Rudd rules. This is a funny trailer. Hope the flick can live up to that.

    “That’s racist.”
