Thomas Haden Church Lands Role in Don McKay

Submitted by Ram Man on Wednesday, 20 August 2008No Comment

Looks like the Sandman, Thomas Haden Church, has landed a sweet role in the new Animus Films’ indie drama Don McKay. Jake Goldberg is serving as writer and director for the project. Don McKay is a man forced to flee his hometown due to a tragedy only to return 25 years later when he learns the love of his life is dying and becomes caught up in a web of lies and murder. Set to star with Church are Elizabeth Shue, Melissa Leo, M. Emmet Walsh and Keith David. Variety is reporting that picture has a budget of $5 million dollars and more importantly a waiver from the Screen Actors Guild . Production has already begun on the streets of Boston.
